Agloolik is a tutelary guardian spirit from the myths of the Inuit in North America. Agloolik lives underneath the ice and protects seals and their cubs from harm. As well as keeping predators at bay from the cubs, Agloolik also ventures out to aid hunter seals. It would hunt and kill their prey to feed the seal‘s families. It was also believed that Agloolik would help human fishermen by hunting for fish and giving it to them.
