The first form of a Devil found in the myths of the beliefs of the Zoroastrian religion. Ahriman was the enemy of Ahura Mazda and was said to be sinister and limited by time. At the beginning although a brother of Ahura Mazda, the two did not know each other. A void separated the two. When Ahriman saw Ahura Mazda travelling across the sky as a beam of light and saw the good things Ahura Mada had created, Ahriman decided to summon evil creatures of this world to destroy the good.
