A Scottish Brownie of Galloway. Brownies are creatures that live in someone’s house to help out with daily chores. The Aiken Drum help to tidy up in the kitchen. They are in the form of a small person and wears a kilt made from rushes. They sleep during the day and come out at night to do work. If one gives them clothes as payment for their work, they will take the clothes and leave the house.
