Alfrigg is a Dwarf from Scandinavian tales who spent a whole night with the god Freyr. They discussed many aspects of the world in a long debate. He was one of the Brisingamen Dwarves along with his brothers Gerr, Berling and Dvalin.
He and the other Brisingamen Dwarves created a magical necklace for the stunningly beautiful and heroic goddess Freyja. Freyja was said to be one of the concubines of the great god Odin, leader of the Aesir. The Brisingmen Dwarves worked long and hard to create the necklace. Finally when it was created Freyja offered them a generous amount of gold and silver for their work. The Dwarves refused the offer and wanted to have sex with her instead. She complied and got her necklace.
This story was first written by two Christian priests during the 15th century in a scripture called the Solar Pattr.
