An Angel of the 3rd heaven. He is responsible for writing everyone’s name when they are born and then erasing them again when they die. He accomplishes this by picking up a leaf that contains someone’s name. These are dropped by Allah and are picked up by Azrael 40 days later. He rules over the planet (or rock) Pluto. He has 4,000 wings and four faces covered in veils. It is said that it would take 70,000 days to travel form one of his eye to the other.
