The Baboon god of ancient Egypt. He lives on a diet of human entrails but helps defend people against snakes and turbulent waters. During the judgement day in the Hall of two truths when the deceased heart is weighed, when it is decided that the deceased will enter the upper world, spells are invoked to ward off Babi. His phallus is the mast of the boat of the underworld and is the lock sealing the gates of heaven.
