A peculiar beast from early Chinese belief. It was a mountain goat that had one horn protruding from its fore head. It possessed only one eye which was located behind its head. It made the sound that resembled its name. It lived in Great Play Mountain. It was recorded in a historical document of Chinese wildlife entitled ‘Guideways Through the Mountains’.
