Deadly
A vast sea creature that has the appearance of an island full of vegetation and forests. Sailors that set camp on a beast disturb the creature that then sinks into the ocean drowning the men. Normally the beast would wait until the men are settled and would attract them deeper into the island near its mouth by beautiful perfume smells and wondrous sights of flowers and plants. Once near the mouth it could swallow people in their thousands. The Anglo-Saxons hold this creature as symbolic to mans attachment to worldly pleasures that can lead to suffering.
