A mythical cow of Zoroastrian legend. It helps people to cross the Voutukasha Sea. It is prophesised that during the end of days, the Hadyosh will produce fat that will become the immortal drink haoma. This cow carried the first humans across the ocean known as Voutukasha. By using the fat of this beast and combining it with the white haoma herbs of sacrifice, a wave of immortality will be produced and there will be a resurrection of all those that have done good in their lives.
The Hadhayosh was mentioned in an ancient Zoroastrian scripture, the The Bundahishn (Creation). By this time the Zoroastrian religion ahd been influenced by Arabic and Hellenic culture. It says;
“Of the ox Hadhayosh, which they call Sarsaok, it says, that in the original creation men passed from region to region upon it, and in the renovation of the universe they prepare Hush (the beverage producing immortality) from it.”
