A Giant from Biblical myth. The original flood that Noah escaped was believed to have wiped out all the Giants of the world. According to Rabelais the French author, one Giant called Hurtaly escaped by living on the roof of Noah’s Ark. Hurtaly also appears as a Giant from the works of the Pantagruel (1532) by Francois Rabelais (1494 - 1553). He is one of the three primary ancestors along with Sarabroth, Charibroth and Faribroth. These Giants appear in the original edition. In later editions many more were added.
