The Lajabless is an entity that appears as an attractive and volumptous women who has demonic talons as feet. She derives from the myths of Trinidad. Some say that instead of talons for feet she has one foot and one hoof. The Lajabless is known to seduce men. She is seen wandering and looking lost. When an innocent man approajes to help her, she leads them to lonely and isolated areas and then disappears. The victim is then lost and unable to find their way home or help, they die.
There was one account of a man who gat away. He found and tried to help a poor lost woman. He had his bike with him but dismounted to join her. She then started to lead him to a lost lonely place. Along the way the man could not help but notice that the woman walked with one foot on the road and the other foot hidden in the long grass. He became mighty suspicious and then decided to light up his cigarette. As he lit his cigarette, the Lajabless lady let out a loud and terrifying scream and said “Yuh lucky”. Scared out of his wits, the man jumped on his bike and sped off. He felt a rock hit him on the back as if the Lajabless had thrown a rock at him. He rode all the way home and never stopped for anyone ever again.
