The daughter of Anu and a goddess of Demons. She has the body of a human with the head of a lion and the teeth of a donkey. She has a hairy body and naked breasts often shown suckling a pig with snakes in her hands. She is the bringer of disease and miscarriage. She causes women to become deluded and kill their babies by sitting on them. She is subdued by the Pauzu. Pregnant women of Babylonia wear bronze masks of Pazuzu to send her to the underworld where she is kept at bay sailing her boat.
