The Long Zhi is a bizarre animal from the accounts of early Chinese bestiaries. The Long Zhi had the body of a fox but it had nine tails and nine heads. Its legs ended in the large paws of a tiger. The Long Zhi was a predacious animal and was known to kill and devour humans. The Long Zhi was one of many animals documented in an ancient manuscript that details the wildlife in the mountains and surrounding areas.
