A creature that was born in 1496 at Frieberg in Saxonia. The Monk’s Calf was a calf that walked on two legs. Its skin was mottled in colour. Its face was disfigured and only one eye was visible under the folds and bumps on its face. It had a fold of skin on its back that resembled the hood of a monk. Its hands and feet were hoven like a calf.
