A demonic messenger of the Yen-Lo, ruler of the dead in Chinese mythology. His name means ‘Ox Head’ and he has the body of a human with the head of an ox Together with his companion, Ma Mein who has a head of a horse, they assist Yen-Lo in hell. They were given the names of those whose soul was to be soon die. The two would find this person and lead them to the Halls of Judgement to decide their fate.
