Black Dogs
One of the Black Dogs of European folklore. The Oschaert is the size of a horse with fire eyes and haunts the people of the town Hamme in Belgium. It stalks travellers on the road and leaps on their backs and grows stronger and heavier until their victim is crushed to death. It specialises in killing those who have a guilty or troubled conscience. A local priest banished the beast from the land for 99 years.
