The Pukis steals treasure for its master (usually from the neighbours) and guards it in its master’s house. Its quick and dexterous speed made it an excellent thief.

A great cartoon called Dobrynya Nikitich and Zemy Gorynych (2006) is a Russian children's animation with Dragons and other Russian mythical beings. But for those who love Vampires, lets not forget that Eastern Europe is their birth place. No film quite gives the Vampire spooks like Nosferatu (1922). However if you like it modern, Day Watch and Night Watch are interesting Vampire alternatives. Also the fantasy tabletop game Warhammer features an army called Vampire Counts which has been greatly inspired by Eastern European beliefs and culture.
