These were four Dwarves who made many magical items. They created the invincible spear Gungnir for the great god Odin. They crafted the Skidbladnir, a collapsible boat for Freyr who could fold it so small it would fit in her pocket. They also made a golden wig which was given to Sif, the wife of Odin. The Sons of Ivaldi entered into a competition of craft making with Brokk and Etti but lost.
