These a race of people who are able to transform into horned owls. According to the Seminole Americans, at night the Stikini regurgitate up their organs and in the form of an owl they enter the homes of their victims. They fly over their victim who is fast asleep and peck out their beating hearts through the mouth of their victim. They then fly away with the beating heart and use it to boil and cook in a special pot. They then relocate their organs and swallow them again whilst in human form. If a hunter is passing in the woods and smells organs, they draw their bow with special owl-feathered arrows dipped in herbs to kill the Stikini.
