Tsuchinoko is a great snake from Japanese myth that could leap 3ft in the air. Tsuchinoko was larger than the average snake with the middle of its body being the fattest part. It was 30 - 80cm in length. It also had the fangs of a viper.

Oddly enough it developed a liking for alcohol. Some have seen it but have been unable to capture it. It can also speak the human language but it tends to lie.

Like the Hoop Snake, the Tsuchinoko holds onto its own tail forming a hoop, which it uses to roll around in.
