Forest spirits that look like black Dwarves. They originate from Hindu myth and their name means ‘mysterious ones’. They can appear as in the form of trees and they protect places of nature as well as treasures. They are known to protect houses and are sometimes called Punyajana ‘Friendly Folk’.
